I had my VPN turned on because I wanted to see if any new accessories had been launched in India. If the site detects a U.S. IP address it will automatically redirect you to the U.S. based site. As we all know, they don't currently advertise much.

Anyway I was trolling the web as an "Indian" and noticed I could not sign-in to the board. This is an anti spam measure, I am sure of that much. I don't plan on fixing it as this is a board geared toward the U.S. customer base. Just be aware if you can't login, the issue might be caused by your IP address.
